We begin by visiting the colorful market of Pisac, located at the entrance to the Sacred Valley and followed by Ollantaytambo, the oldest continuously occupied town on the American continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with its canals that have not changed since Inca times, evoke its ancestral heritage, lunch in a typical restaurant. The night is free to eat at the restaurant of your choice; although we always have many suggestions for you in case you need them.

Breakfast. At 04:15 am we will pick you up from your hotel to go to the Ollantaytambo train station. The train departs from the Ollantaytambo station (located 1 hour and 50 minutes outside of Cusco). Frequently Asked Questions:

When is the best season to visit Machu Picchu?

The best time for your vacations in Machupicchu is between April and October, they are the months of high season where the limit of tourists exceeds the limits because it is the dry season, however this does not guarantee that there will not be the occasional isolated rain. During the dry season there are fewer clouds and you can enjoy the tour much more in the area.

The climate in Machu Picchu is hot and humid, with an average annual temperature with minimums of 12º and maximums of 24º, so to visit it , is be very important to always wear a coat.

Is it necessary to make the reservation months before?

It´s is necessary to make the during the high seasons such as in the months of June to September, we recommend that you reserve your ticket as soon as possible if you travel in those months that is the high season your reservation is to guarantee your tourist spaces.

Are international air tickets included in the tour?

The tours we offer do NOT include the international air ticket, but if you want this service we can also include it in your tour package to Machu Picchu.

Are the tickets for Machu Picchu included?

Yes, the price of the tour includes the tickets to Machu Picchu, this is valid for all tours.

Do you pay the same price for children?

The prices published on our website are for adults (over 18 years old), children over 5 years old pay between 5 and 10% less than the general cost and children under 5 years old do not pay.

How high is Vinicunca?

It is at a height of 5,200 meters above sea level. Therefore, we recommend spending at least 2 days in the imperial city of Cusco for acclimatization purposes, remember that the walk is approximately 5 hours (round trip) if you are not well acclimatized you may have difficulties during the journey.

What is the difficulty of the walk?

It has MEDIUM difficulty, with a duration of 3 hours (ascent) at an average pace, this path requires an acceptable physical state because the route includes slightly steep ascents and plains that ascend progressively.

Will altitude sickness be a problem?

Undoubtedly, this issue is not to be neglected, much less if we find ourselves in a place with a considerable height, so it is advisable to take pills for altitude sickness or soroche, in the same way to have the “Coca Leaves” on hand so popular for their healing and relaxing qualities.
