Upon arrival, a short briefing for your upcoming vacation and the activities tomorrow. Relax into the evening and enjoy a good night’s rest.

Breakfast, then we will ride down to the Pisco airport where you will hop aboard your plane and fly over the enigmatic Nazca Lines.

From Lima to Pisco travel is about 4 hours. Upon arriving at the airport, you will board a comfortable airplane and have a window seat all to yourself to better appreciate these mysterious drawings on the desert floor.

These gigantic drawings of humans, geometric and animals figures can only be seen from the air. Many figures represent humans, animals and insect. Although the origin of these figures is lost in time, probably that the figures are part of a great astronomical calendar.

Nazca’s Lines represent hundreds of figures. It is believed that they were created by the people of Nazca between 400 and 650 A.D. Some of these figures are the flamingo, the hummingbird, the spider, the condor, etc. But the strangeness of this place is the gigantic monkey that has 5 fingers on one hand and 4 fingers on his other hand. Why they were made and how they were made remains a mystery.

Breakfast. transfer to the mole of “El Chaco” where you’ll take a motorboat excursion to the Ballestas island, which are a group of rocky islands located in the Pacific Ocean a short distance off the coast of Peru. They are close to the Bay of Paracas. On the way we will stop and see the giant, mysterious Candelabrum of Paracas. This amazing petroglyph covers the side of a tall cliff right by the sea. All of the Ballesatas Islands compose a colorful, vibrant wildlife sanctuary. These rocky outcrops are chock full of sea birds and marine
mammals. You will see seals and also the endangered Humbolt penguin. There will be cormorants, pelicans, gulls, and red ducks, and a whole bunch more. After your boat tour, private transfer to the hotel and take a break. Our next adventure will be to vineyards near Ica. At the first point we will visit the artisanal wine cellar “Tacama”, where we will learn about the elaboration of wine and Pisco, Tacama Winery is one of the oldest in
the country and in all of South America. Here we will learn about how Pisco and fine Peruvian wines are produced, in addition we will have the opportunity to taste the various piscos and wines of the winery. After your lunch and your wine testing, we will visit the majestic Huacachina lagoon, known as “The Oasis of America”, from this point we will be able to appreciate the impressive desert landscape of the dunes. Breakfast. Private transfer from Paracas to Lima Airport. Aprox. 4-hour journey up to the Lima airport. Flight to Cuzco (airfare included). approx. 1 Hour 30 minute flight to Cusco Airport. Breakfast, then we will Take the First Class Vistadome Train to Machu Picchu.

The passengers can watch the spectacular scenery unfolding before them. From the agricultural plains of the Sacred Valley, to the crashing waters of the Urubamba River, and as you get closer to Machu Picchu the soaring mountains, the scenery is constantly changing.

Breakfast. Full Day Tour of Lake Titicaca. Lake Titicaca is the Largest Navigable Lake in the World.

The Uros island in the Titikaka lake. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros are known as the “water tribe”, because they must construct its own Islands periodically, adding new layers of totora reeds, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water.

They used it as home and trade centers for the natives, who use hand-made boats of the same material as their means of transportation. At present, they speak Quechua and Aymara. Following this exciting tour, you will be led to the Island of Taquile, , place where the form of typical and rustic experience was appraised, the place is colorful and landscaping, where they even maintain its customs, ritual, religious and folkloric traditions, in the town of Taquile we will taste a typical lunch with fresh fish (trout). There is also a craft fair on the plaza that sells exceptional wool goods which are of very fine quality and somewhat expensive. Taquile Island is famous for its craft production, particularly for its beautiful textiles. The island is narrow at
about 1 Km. wide and 6 to 7 Km. long. The visit could be exhausting because of the altitude (13,000 ft above sea level). On Taquile there are numerous pre-Inca and Inca ruins as well as Inca terracing. We will return in Puno in the afternoon, Overnight in Luxury GHL Lago Titicaca 5* Hotel. (B,L)

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to take the flight to Lima (airfare included). On the route to the airport, we will visit at the Sillustani Chullpas (pre-Colombian funeral towers). The scenery is desert but impressive, in a beautiful setting on a peninsula on Ayumara lake about 32 Km. from Puno. Most of the towers date from the period of Inca occupation in the 15th century; the engineering involved in their construction is more complex than anything the Incas built. 1 Hour 30 minute flights to Lima Airport and your connecting International flights home.
