Peru is one of the countries in South America. It is made up of a variety of landscapes, from mountains and beaches to deserts and rain forests. Lima is the capital of Peru, Most people live along the coast of Peru.

The coast was inhabited by Ancient people, called the Caral, Mochica, Chimú and the Nasca, first inhabited this region thousands of years ago.

Peru has on of the largest rain forest, the Amazon, covers nearly half of Peru, this huge jungle, is home to plants and animals that do not live anywhere else on Earth. The scientists think there may even be Indian tribes there that have never seen the outside world.

Also Peru has one of highest mountain range in the world runs through Peru. The peruvian called to these peaks the Andes. Cusco is located in the south of the Andes, where was developed the Inca’s Empire. Under the Inca ruler Pachacutec, Machu picchu was builted, and nowaday is one the new seven wonder in the World.

Itinerary:

Pick up upon arrival at Lima’s airport and transportation to the Hotel located in Miraflores. Overnight.

Breakfast, transfer to the Lima airport for the flight to Puno (Juliaca). (AIRFARE INCLUDED).

Upon arrival to Juliaca Airport. Reception and transportation to the Hotel where you will receive an aromatic coca tea to stimulating for the height, will have the free morning to rest and also we suggest you have a light lunch in your hotel or in one of the surrounded.

In the afternoon visit at the Sillustani Chullpas (pre-Colombian funeral towers). The scenery is desert but impressive, in a beautiful setting on a peninsula on lake Ayumara about 32 Km. from Puno. Most of the towers date from the period of Inca occupation in the 15th century, the engineering involved in their construction is more complex than anything the Incas built. Overnight in your Hotel.

Breakfast. 06:45 am. You will be picked up from your hotel and then transferred to the pier and take the motor boat towards the Uros Floating Islands. Arriving we walk on the reed islands and interact with the natives. Fishermen and hunters inhabit the floating islands of the Uros. The residents of the Uros use the cattail, a type of rush, which grows in the lake, to create the conditions that ensure the islands stay afloat. The dense roots that the plants develop support the island. The roofs are waterproof and the houses are extremely humid because of the surrounding water. Later, we can ride a reed boat (extra charge US $ 7.00).

Afterwards we continue our trip to “Taquile Island” (2:30 hours). Upon arrival, we walk  slowly along a narrow path towards the village inhabited by Quechua natives, and you will have a chance to explore around the main Plaza and take pictures of the Lake Titicaca. Later we walk to a local restaurant for lunch. We will return in Puno in the afternoon, overnight at your Hotel.

Early breakfast, We’ll pick all guests up from their hotel before departing by tourist bus (shared service) along the Sun Route. Depart Puno on guided bus to Cusco. Visiting on the route picturesque towns, important archaeological and cultural sites such as Raqchi, Sicuani, La Raya (highest point of the route at a height of over 4.335 meters above

the sea level) and Pukara, San Pedro Church in Andahuaylillas. We will have a buffet lunch in Sicuani about half way. Then we’ll arrive in Cusco and transfer by private vehicle to our hotel.

Breakfast, 09:45 AM. City tour (entrance to the archaeological centers and museums including) we will visit Cusco área and in addition we will make a route bordering archaeological centers like Sacsayhuaman Fortress, Q’enko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay, tour finis area, then overnight.

Breakfast. 8:00 am. Full day excursion to the Urubamba Valley visiting: the colorful market in Pisac. Pisac is located to the entrance of the Sacred Valley and followed by Ollantaytambo, the older town continuously occupied of the American continent. The narrow streets of Ollantaytambo, along with their channels that have not varied from the time Inca, evoke their ancestral inheritance, lunch in a typical restaurant. Chinchero is believed to be the mythical birthplace of the rainbow. Finally, we gonna return to Cusco main square at 18:30 Hr. approx.

The night is free for you to eat in a restaurant of your choice; although we always have plenty of suggestions for you should you require them.

Breakfast. 04:15 AM pick up to go Ollantaytambo Train’s station. The expedition, Vistadome, The Voyager and The 360º departs from Ollantaytambo Station (1 hour and 50 minutes outside Cusco). Service on board the train whilst passengers watch the spectacular scenery unfolding before them. From the agricultural plains on the way, to the crashing waters of the Urubamba River, and as you get closer to Machu Picchu the soaring mountains, the scenery is constantly changing.

The train arrives into Aguas Calientes, from this town we will take the buses that will take us to the Citadel, thirty minute journey up to the citadel.

Upon arrival at the Machu Picchu entrance, passengers can go straight into the citadel as tickets will have been pre-purchased for all guests. 

A guide will escort you around the citadel, pointing out the best of the ruins and recounting the history of this Inca settlement. After the guided tour, guests are given the choice to wander alone through this fascinating World Heritage site. In the afternoon we will take the train back to Ollantaytambo, where our staff will be waiting for you, to transfer you by bus to Cusco.

Breakfast. Coordinated time transfer to the Airport to return to Lima. (AIRFARE INCLUDED). END OF SERVICES.
